he was on holiday in Florida with his partner Richard

Willem -Jan was my cousin .I was deeply moved during the ceremony in De Duif .Still can"t believe he is gone .All the Power to everyone who loved him , especially to Powertje Richard.

Thanks to Nic and Desiree for their comments and postings. I was having a very sad moment and in a moment of kind of craziness looking for him, I googled "Willem-Jan Temper" and found this blog.

I couldn't believe it, and the comments helped a lot. It was as if Willem-Jan were sending me a signal.

He is with me all the time--his energy and love. This site is very well named--you can't keep a good man down, and Willem-Jan was a very, very good man--honest, with integrity and principles. I miss him and our life very, very much. I will always love you, Tempertje! ALWAYS!!! That will never change.

You would be very proud of me with how I can take the boat around the canals and how I clean it and keep it free of water and leaves. It is almost time to winterize the boat, but I won't take it to Rien de Wolf this year, sweetheart--they always rip us off!

I love and miss you very, very much, but know that I will see you again. I am sure of it!!!

Give a big kiss to Elly for me and rub Candy behind his ears. Save a place for me, Sugar Buns--

Good to read you here, Richard. Hope you manage to live your life without Tempertje .... Must be so painfull .But you cherish your lovely and loving memories . Although we hardly know each other and I wasn't really close to Willem-Jan I want you to know that i'm thinking often of you both . I admire the POWER of your love . xxx Désirée
