Same sex couples can marry here, prostitution is legal here, soft drugs are tolerated here. But if you take the Lord's name in vain its still a criminal act.
The law that makes blasphemy a crime in the Netherlands still exists, and the PVDA's attempts to even talk about deleting it is meeting serious opposition from the Christian parties in the government and parliament.
The timing is dubious to say the least ....
